Below is our Fantasy Football Strength of Schedule Cheat Sheet. Strength of Schedule (SOS) is an important tool for fantasy football and especially best ball drafters to utilize in their process of drafting teams and building best ball portfolios.
Our Strength of Schedule tool ranks each NFL team in 3 different ways for difficulty of matchup:
- Overall – Collective ranking for a team’s entire 17 game schedule
- Playoff Rounds – Collective ranking for a team’s 3 week fantasy football playoff period
- Individual Weeks – Difficulty of matchup in each individual matchup across a team’s entire 17 game schedule
Each of these are ranked in order from 1 to 32, with 1 being the easiest matchup and 32 being the most difficult. Prior to the NFL Draft and the NFL Schedule Release, our cheat sheet will show the overall strength of schedule for each team based on opponent win totals. After the NFL Draft and NFL Schedule Release, our cheat sheet will show a ranking based on a combination of projected opponent defensive efficiency, pace and win total projections in order to determine the most relevant ranking specifically for fantasy football and best ball.
